ₜ Tiny Text Generator

Convert text to tiny subscript Unicode characters. Small text for social media bios and comments — all in your browser, no upload, instant results.

About the Tiny Text Generator

This tiny text generator runs entirely in your browser. Type or paste any text into the box above and click Convert to turn supported characters into their Unicode subscript equivalents, producing tiny lowercase-style text. Nothing is uploaded to a server — the conversion happens instantly with JavaScript on your device.

How it works

The tool uses Unicode's dedicated subscript characters. All digits (0–9), several lowercase letters (a, e, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, r, s, t, u, v, x), and a few symbols (+ - = ( )) have subscript forms in Unicode. Unsupported characters (including most uppercase letters and a few lowercase ones like q, w, y, z) are kept as-is so the text remains readable.

Where to use tiny text

  • Social media bios — Squeeze more text into tight profile spaces.
  • Comments and captions — Stand out with small, distinctive text.
  • Usernames and display names — Add a unique visual style to your name.
  • Chemical and mathematical notation — Write H₂O, xₙ, or aₖ in plain text.

How to use the generator

  1. Type or paste your text in the input box.
  2. Click Convert — the tiny version appears in the output box.
  3. Click Copy to copy the result to your clipboard, or Clear to start over.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool upload my text? No. All conversion happens locally in your browser. Your text never leaves your device.

Why are some characters unchanged? Unicode doesn't define subscript forms for every character (notably q, w, y, z, and most uppercase letters). Unsupported characters are kept as-is so the text remains readable.

Will the tiny text show up everywhere? Most modern platforms support these Unicode characters, but some older systems may show boxes (□) for less common subscript letters. This is a font limitation.

Is there a length limit? The only limit is your browser's available memory. Even very long documents convert instantly.
